Fly in and out of Cape Town International Airport.
Collection from airport on day 1
You will be welcomed at Cape Town International Airport by your hosts for the tour. Upon arrival in Cape Town (in the morning), guests will remain in transit at Cape Town International Airport and connect to Walvis Bay, accompanied by your tour leaders.
After arrival at Walvis Bay International airport, we will travel about 30 minutes to Swakopmund where we will check into the hotel. In the evening we all meet for dinner at a local restaurant. This is where the South Africa and Namibia Tour really begins. Get to meet your fellow guests and ask your questions about the tour that lies ahead!
Sleep in Swakopmund
Meals: Dinner
Today breakfast will be served early at the hotel. The South Africa and Namibia Tour then embarks on a half day Living Desert Tour. The tour is a unique 4×4 adventure drive through the dunes outside Swakopmund. The drive is an amazing experience through the red sand dunes that give Namibia its identity. The tour takes us from the vegetated, life-rich eastern side of the dunes right through the dunes to the Atlantic Ocean.
The rest of the day will be free to explore the delightful town of Swakopmund.
Dinner will be at a restaurant of your choice. We will provide our recommendations.
Sleep in Swakopmund
Meals: Breakfast
Today we will have an early breakfast and travel to the neighboring town of Walvis Bay where we will join an exciting Seal and Dolphin Catamaran Boat Cruise. The South Africa and Namibia Tour gives you the unique opportunity to visit these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.
Again, the afternoon is free to explore Swakopmund, its amazing coffee shops and souvenir shops.
Dinner will be at a restaurant of your choice. We will provide our recommendations.

Sleep in Swakopmund
This morning, after a relaxed breakfast, we will depart for Sossusvlei – driving via Kuiseb Pass & Gaub Pass, with a quick stop at the Tropic of Capricorn. We will arrive at our camp in the late afternoon, with some time to relax and take in the spectacular views before a sunset walk overlooking the Nauklaft mountains. We will overnight at the Desert Camp near Sesriem, just outside Sossuvlei. It is quite rustic, with accommodation in either permanent tents or rooms – each with their own en-suite bathrooms.
Dinner will be an experience in the Camp.
Sleep in Sossusvlei
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
This morning we will depart at dawn from the lodge to arrive at the Sossusvlei Park for sunrise. We drive down an ancient river bed surrounded by towering dunes and transfer to a 4×4 vehicle. We head towards Dead Vlei to witness its expanse of bleached, cracked clay and skeletal camel thorn trees – a magnificent site with the color changing dunes as a backdrop.
We will enjoy an exclusive desert lunch and a hike through the famous dunes.
On the way back to camp, we will stop at Dune 45. Those adventurous enough can climb the dune. A quick stop at the Sesriem Canyon before we reach camp in the late afternoon to watch the sunset over the spectacular desert.
Dinner will be at the Camp.
Sleep in Sossusvlei
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After a leisurely breakfast we will head towards Windhoek, stopping at Solitaire.
Solitaire has a sanctuary for cheetahs that cannot be released back into the wild. We will spend about an hour on a guided drive and educational tour of the cheetahs.
We then continue to Windhoek via Bullsport & Rehoboth arriving in time for a late afternoon flight to Cape Town (the flight is included in the tour price).
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport we will transfer to our Hotel in Cape Town’s seaboard suburb of Green Point.
Dinner will be a one of Cape Town’s best restaurants – Kloof Street House.

After breakfast the South Africa and Namibia Tour heads out into the winelands for a full day exclusive Wine Experience in the Stellenbosch & Franschoek regions.
Taste some the finest wines and best food South Africa has to offer, whilst exploring the delightfully quaint little towns set up by the first European settlers in South Africa. We will take you through the flavours of South Africa’s world-famous wines.
We head back later in the afternoon where you will have the evening free to do as you wish, some may want some rest after all the activities (or wine)!

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Cape Town has so much to offer, and a few days is never enough to explore it all. So today will be free to do whatever you choose. Here are some suggestions: Shop at the V&A Waterfront; Go to the beach (Clifton 3 for the Gay beach); Try out some more fabulous wines; Explore the Bokaap area; Visit Robben Island, the infamous prison were Nelson Mandela spent most of his time. Your tour guides will be at hand for any help or suggestions.

After breakfast we will head to the peak of Table Mountain via the cable car (or if you are brave, and adventurous, you can hike up – it only takes about 90 minutes).
Here you will enjoy the best views in the world! Spend time exploring the fascinationg micro climate up here and look out for dassies (an African rodent that lives amongst the rocks). The afternoon will be at your leisure again – more opportunity to explore a different side of Cape Town.
Dinner will be served on us at yet another one of Cape Town’s finest restaurants.

Today is the last official day in Cape Town. The South Africa and Namibia tour finishes with a journey around the most beautiful landscape in the world: the Cape Peninsula.
The morning tour will take you through intricate roads built into the mountain on Chapman’s Peak and the long white beaches of Noordhoek where 2 oceans meet at Cape Point. A visit to Boulder Beach to play with the penguins and a scrumptious seafood lunch in Simonstown is of course on the agenda.
Our last night deserves a proper send off… dinner overlooking the incredible Camps Bay where we can all share in the journey we have all undertaken.
